This cache is a small lock and lock container and was initially stocked with toy horses. It uses one of the letters from the ‘Vocabulary Virus' cache, GC17180, by Meandmydogs (MAMD). We took the letter 'B' because we knew we could the use resulting cache for another, higher, purpose.
In this case, 'B is for Birthday'. Specifically, this cache has been set out commemorate the 13th birthday of the Duracell Kid (DK). For those of you that don't know her, the DK is the junior member of Team Rose. Tigquilt and I have cached with the Team on numerous occasions. It is truly humbling to see that the DK has reached this advanced age. She was already a prodigious cache finder, always locating more than her share of the hides. Now the DK will be a teenager and should soon know everything there is to know. The combination of great finding skills and unlimited knowledge should result in a truly formidable geocacher. :)
So, Happy Birthday to the Duracell Kid! Also, good luck to the senior member of Team Rose during the next few years!
