On the way to Will & Bill's Moderate Backpacker cache, we decided to drop another easier cache. It contains the usual dodads, Mardi Gras beads, pins and other stuff. If there is snow or ice on the ground, this isn't going to be fun!
This cache is a 2 qt thermos. . As I tell Karen, it's all downhill from here (except the hike back UP the hill). We wanted a cache somewhere in between Oldtimer's "I Didn't Make It" cache and Will & Bill's Backpacker cache. Karen of Oldtimers was along on the adventure but I don't think she actually saw where I placed this one. She gets credit also for this one, since she told me to "take a hike" after I didn't go get her a tent so she could camp out on this ridge. Enjoy the hike, it is UP from Yellowwood Lake, not on any trail, but if you start at the old cemetery just north of the lake, you can start the journey on the Lake Trail or the "T" Trail.

This is one of 30 caches found in Yellowwood with my friend Sapper06. It was a long/short day. Long in that we started at sunrise and was walking down the road back to the car in the dark plus I was a tired puppy. Short, in that we actually had 45 caches plotted out to do for the day. The cache that sticks out for the day was "its up there", frozen in place and then when we did get it trying to put it back where it belonged, about 10 minutes we had there. For such a long day of caching we only had 3 dnf's. not bad. Signed all logs, thanks to all who put the caches out.

Great day for caching with my friend 2Aussies. I found this one while here in July, so I got to watch 2Aussies look for a "maw".

Hiking with Cabin Boy, Danger Dog and Red-Headed Stepboy (my usual cache-hounds). It was a beautiful cool day, but the hill climb had me wanting to shed a layer. It was good to get an easy one after the climb. OVO
