Geocache Description:

You will need wellies to reach this one. Standard size cache will take most items

This cache is located on the Isle of Harris, Outer Hebredies, Scotland. If you have never been here then you will be amazed by the different scenery and landscape in this area. There are beautiful sandy beaches on the west side, craggy mountains and lochs dotted all over the island.

The cache has been left in Finsbay (Fionnasbhagh) which is on the east side of the Island. On a clear day if you look out to sea you will see the Isle of Syke and its mountain ranges. Head to N57 46.250 W006 54.389 for the best views and look back behind you to see Roaneval mountain.

You will need good waterproofs, wellies and a hat as the rain can role into the island very quickly. The cache can only be found by walking across the heather and peat.

The first person to brave the Winter Hebredian weather can take home the FTF lapel pin. Enjoy the views (whatever the weather)
