A nice quick and easy cache. If you use this part of the M25 regularly, you will know exactly what you are looking for. This cache brings together (depending upon your view) two important communication links of the age, the motorway and the mobile phone! There is a fairly short (but very noisy) walk along a wide path (which can get muddy after rain) parallel to the M25 in the cutting below.
Start in the Car Park near the Rangers Lodge off Shacklands Road, Badgers Mount (off the A224 Orpington by-pass). Co ordinates N51 20.017 E000 09.306
If you want a quieter walk you could try our other cache nearby, (St Andrews Benchmark) which involves a much more peaceful walk in the wood on the other side of the motorway

A nice, level, gentle stroll to this cache on good paths from the Ranger's cabin. The last few metres were off-path and there is a bramble or two waiting to get you. Cache container in a nice camouflaged bag. TNLN. SL. TFTC.
