Geocache Description:

This cache is located in the Headwaters Conservation Area, along the “Charm Bracelet Trail” system in the town of Westborough. The trail system is family friendly although not wheelchair accessible.

As you walk along the trail you are treated to great views of the pond. In the distance you can see the dam that was built in 1970 by the state and the federal governments for flood protection. This created the 310 acre impoundment that is the actual headwaters for the Assabet River. The river itself starts at the outlet end of the dam. This pond provides recreation opportunities for the general public during all four seasons.

The cache is a medium sized plastic Lock&Lock container. The container has some of the usual swag along with a recently activated Massachusetts Geocoin. Two scratch tickets are enclosed for the FTF (hope they are both winners!).

Parking is at the end of Andrews Street at N 42-15.495 W071-38.574. Cache is a short hike from the parking coordinates.
