Smykket, er en 12 meter høj fingerring i overstørrelse, udført af den berømte, nu afdøde guldsmed Bent Exner. Den er udført i højglanspoleret rustfri stål, som fanger lyset på en enestående måde og er især flot når solen står op eller går ned prøv at finde stedet hvor solens farve spejles mest, også om natten er der lys på der laver spejlinger
Da man i maj 2004 opsatte den nye skulptur ”Smykket” på Hals Havn gav det anledning til en diskussion om, hvorvidt man kunne betegne dette som byens nye vartegn.

Smykket is a 12-meter high ring designed by the late Bent Exner, a goldsmith. It is designed in highly polished stainless steel, and captures the light in a unique way especially when the sun goes up or down try to capture the spot where it’s the most, also at night are there light on that makes reflections .
When the new sculpture “Smykket” was erected at Hals Harbour, in May 2004, it excited a lot of comment. Should it be the town’s new symbolic landmark?
