Armchair Rock is a
rock formation on the headland between Saltern Cove and Shell Cove
in the area between Broadsands and Goodrington Sands. This headland
is accessible from the coastal path and, like the Saltern Cove
cache, the headland give views over most of Torbay.
Presumably it is called Armchair
Rock because it looks like an armchair - not sure I can see it
myself.
The cache is hidden near the steps
down to the rock in the north east corner of the grassy headland.
Contents are a logsheet and a small pen. The cache itself may not
spectacular, but the views are excellent.
