This cache is dedicated to all who have lost a pet who was dear to them.We had to put our cat Shadow (hence the name of the cache) down in OCT 07.She was about 18 years old.Out of all the pets I've had and lost in my lifetime,this one was the hardest.And let me tell you we took it hard.I find it amazing how we can become so attached to our pets.To the point we look at them as family members.Maybe because its how they give and take love so unconditionally? Or maybe because they are just great companions? What every it is? We spend thousands of dollars taking care of our fury,feathery and scaly friends.And spoil them rotting.And I wouldn't have it any other way.
We now have two cats that we got from the Ipswich Humane Shelter.And they are a handfull !!!!
We just lost another pet member on the 13Th of Dec 09.Our cockatiel Spike passed away.So this cache will also be dedicated to him.He will be missed.
