Ein Cache der

Kochertal-Bahnhof-Serie

Die Kochertal-Bahnhof-Serie ist den nicht mehr oder teilweise 'noch ein wenig' vorhandenen Bahnhöfen der ehemaligen 'unteren' Kochertalbahn von Waldenburg bis Forchtenberg (und von der entgegengesetzten Richtung her von Bad Friedrichshall bis Ohrnberg, also mit einer kleinen Lücke zwischen Forchtenberg und Ohrnberg!!!) gewidmet. Die Bahnstrecke ist vollständig stillgelegt.

Die Haltestelle Kupferzell liegt nahe der Ortschaft. Das Bahnhofsgebäude wurde nach Wackershofen ins Museum verlegt ,der Bahnhof war der erste württembergische Einheitsbahnhof - Modell für viele andere Bahnhöfe.

The present cache is of the traditional type, - a PET container with logging equipment.

The caches of 'Wackershofen' and 'Kupferzell' concern with the same railway station, - the former station of Kupferzell. The station can be visited in the famous museum of Wackershofen in its original state (the building has been transferred from Kupferzell to Wackershofen), - we recommend to visit the museum when searching for the Wackershofen-Cache, but you need not enter the museum for searching. The building was constructed in 1892 following a standard for german railway stations in that time. For cutting down expenses the building was set up as wood construction and all 'fuctionalities' were kept under one roof.

The former train stop 'Kupferzell' is located close to the village.
