Ammo can along road overlooking a seldom seen large segment of the scenic Missouri River

The cache is along a mile long segment of river breaks ridge road overlooking the Missouri in an area seldom seen except by local residents. It is not necessary to enter private lands or to cross any fences. Parking is OK near the cache. Take the opportunity to drive the entire mile for spectacular scenic river views.

The cache is well-stocked with swag originally; be sure to trade fairly and straight-up (one for one) for TBs and Geocoins.

This cache may be wheelchair accessible for the sturdy.

Be sure to replace the container as you found it so others can enjoy the hide. Remember to sign the log as that is your best evidence of a find; online find logs that are not supported by such are subject to deletion.

Iona is now officially a Ghost Town (no post office); but has enjoyed a colorful history. Farming and ranching remains a robust industry here.

This really is a great view. I'd never been to this spot before. We checked out the Iona Cemetary on the way out, very nicely cared for. TFTC

Fourth of four on a beautiful day the day after Thanksgiving for "daughter" and me. Great view of the Missouri River. Took the "Yoshi go byebye" travel bug to get him moving. Otherwise TNLNSL - TFTC.

The sense of melancholy from the school pervades here, as this is a scenic area, and it seems a shame more don't stop to appreciate the view. Parked at the side of the road and grabbed the cache, finding it at the fringe (thankfully), and signed the log. Took nothing, left signature card and JB dice game. Thanks for the nice drive and the cache.

traded TB's, will try to get it off a little closer to England (yeah right). Tons of turkeys around this area, but too skittish for a picture. Traded bugs, SL - TFTH.
