Located in Lexden Park Local Nature Reserve, this is a magnetic nano cache which only has room for a log roll, so bring your own pen/pencil! I've given it a difficulty rating of 4 because it's tiny, it's difficult to see and I could only get an accuracy of about 25ft, but you may get lucky… The terrain is fairly flat, but it can get quite muddy when it's been raining, so it may get a bit sticky for wheelchairs, buggies, etc. If you have little ones with you, please take care of the lake, there's a very low barrier, but it'd be very easy for a child to get around or get over and fall into the water. And on that note, this cache is inside the park, the road is quite busy at times and you don't need to go near it!
Once you've found the cache, it's worth wandering around the area. It's not a particularly big reserve, but it is a lovely, peaceful area. It's quite popular with dog walkers, so you'll have to be careful when retrieving the cache and use a bit of stealth! Bring some bread with you and feed the ducks (of which there are quite a few!). Please be careful when replacing the cache, it's very small so we don't want a child or an animal trying to eat it!
There's parking available at N51°53.339 E000°51.830, but this is very small and is sometimes closed. If this is the case, you can park in the road, which is small, but quite busy, so, again, please take care.
That's about it… as the name suggests, this is the first cache I've hidden, so please be gentle with me and enjoy!
Have fun!
