Kätkö Talma Ski-laskettelurinteen läheisyydessä.

Kätkö ei sijaitse rinnealueella eikä sinne ole välttämätöntä kulkea sen kautta. Kätkö on pienellä vaivalla saavutettavissa myös rinnealueelta lähestyen, joten lasketteleva kätköilijä voi halutessaan poiketa kätköllä. Mäen laelta on kohtalaiset näkymät ympäristöön, talvisin laki on rinnealuetta.

Talman laskettelurinne on lumilautailijoiden suosiossa. Kts. lisätiedot hiihtokeskuksen sivuilta http://www.talmaski.fi/.

Kätkön ainakin pitäisi olla talvilöydettävä, nähtäväksi jää kuinka runsaasti paikkaan kertyy lunta. Maastossa on suhteellisen helppo liikkua, korkeusvaihtelu on silminnähtävä. Kätkön löytäminen ei vaadi akrobatiaa. Olethan varovainen jos lähestyt kätköä mäen laen suunnalta. Talma Skin pysäköinti on maksuton, mutta parkkialue saattaa olla puomein suljettu keskuksen ollessa suljettuna. En suosittele maastoautoilua tai sen yrittämistä alueella, auto on parasta jättää kesäisinkin autoille tarkoitetuille alueille.

A cache near Talma Ski-ski slope.

The cache is located near but not in the ski slope area and it's accessible without entering the slope area. The cache can be reached from the slope area, so that skiing or snowboarding geocacher may visit the cache. A nice view to the surrounding area is available from the top of the hill. During winter the top belongs to skiing slope area.

The Talma skiing slope is popular among snowboarders. For more information visit Talma Ski web pages at http://www.talmaski.fi/index_en.html.

The cache should be available in winter. We'll see how much snow there will be on the stash. The cache container is 2l Curver box. The terrain is relatively easy but notice the elevation changes. The cache can be found without any acrobatics. Please be careful if approaching the stash from the top of the hill. The Talma Ski parking is free but the parking area may be closed with barriers. Offroad driving in the area is not recommended, the car should be parked to the parking areas or similar.
