Geocache Description:

CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES N44°16.ABC W88°25.DEF

This is a tribute cache to Zoesbrother - if you haven't figured that out yet - a young cacher who has challenged us all of late with his own mind-bending puzzles.

Once upon a time in a land not too far away there lived a king who fancied himself as decent and wise ruler and he was, generally, revered by his subjects. He ruled a tiny little kingdom called Selzzup, which is about the modern equivalent of 9 square city blocks.

He came to the throne rather unexpectedly but took his mantle and his subjects seriously. Well, after his first year, the kind decided to take a short vacation - just a few weeks to regain his senses before embarking on his second year on the throne.

One morning, near the end of his holiday, he was awoken suddenly by a knock on the door. It was his Chancellor, Evad, who brought news of a potential uprising, headed by a young usurper who'd recently came to the kingdom and was challenging any who would dare to take him on in a game of wits.

Well, the king sensing that this young challenger possessed some skill, decided to issue a series of challenges of his own. And so he called his court together that very morning and asked each of them to develop a puzzle for the young lad to solve and bring it to him before sunset so the proclamation could go forth that day. So the 9 members of the court left to ponder and postulate...

After things settled down a bit, the King's most trusted advisor, Chancellor Evad, came into his ante-chamber as the King was getting ready for breakfast. "Well, that's one heck of a way to start your second year, your Majesty. I think your decision to challenge this upstart was a very wise one. Perhaps it will give our eager inquisitor pause and time to reflect." he said. "That's what I'm hoping for," said the King. Evad continued, "Here's my puzzle, it's about which side of the bed to get out of in the morning. The lad must use the normal rules of the game, but also use the digits 1-9 just once in each of the 2 'hats'."

The king was pleased with this and sent the Chancellor on his way. The king was pleased with this and sent the Chancellor on his way.
