Geocache Description:

I have heard of flying pigs, but a flying train?

The Alaska Railroad was looking at how the airlines were having more and more problems with late or canceled flights, lost luggage, and in-creasing costs. And how AMTRAK was in a big push to get more people onto the trains and was seeing a big increase in train use. But the Alaska Railroad was running into the problems of that Alaska only had a small train track route, and a lot of the places in Alaska were not on that route.
So a new idea was born, the Flying train, you would still have the bigger seats, bigger windows, and a food car, that you have enjoyed on the train, with the speed of the airlines. And the best part is that there is no need for an airport, a straight stretch of track is all that is needed!
