Geocache Description:

The cache is located in the NE quadrant of Walker State Forest in Concord, near a quagmire and across the street from the famous quarries of Rattlesnake Hill. It requires some bushwhacking but can even be done by quinquagenarians like myself. It is over a foot off the ground and can be found with a normal quilt of snow - your quandary would be where to park in winter along the roadside. WARNING - SEE BELOW

WARNING!

1) Somebody has built illegal mountain bike trails in the forest, and there are posted notices closing them. See sign in Photo Gallery. I don't see why this would apply to geocachers traveling cross-country, but I suggest that you not mountain-bike here and I have added the no-bicycle attribute. the sign

2) A cacher has reported an animal trap somewhere on the way to the cache (see logs)! Watch where you step, RESTRAIN KIDS AND PETS, and if you see it get a coordinate so I can post it. I have never seen it. Animal trapping is mostly done in winter when pelts are full and valuable, so the trap may not be in place most of the year.

This cache is inspired by Vocabulary Virus GC17180. There are more words beginning with Q than you might think, and each cacher has a quota of one word beginning with Q that should be logged in the cache and online. If you don't know what a quadricorn or a quetzal is, time to head for the dictionary! Don't quibble or quarrel with your companions about whether to go here, or quaver or quail about the difficulty - just quash your qualms, quench your quivering, and quell your queasiness then queue up for your quest. May the qi be with you! The quartermaster who stocked the cache quipped that since it is a quart bottle, there are fewer than a quintillion items inside and not enough space for a quadricycle, quay, or Quonset hut. Also quoted were geocaching guidelines which would discourage placement of quicksilver, quinoa, quinine, or a quince.

Now for a quick quiz - did anybody know all the q-words above? And a final question - did I use more q-words than hiders of other letters used of their words? Don't forget to log a q-word each!
