This forest can be a welcome break from the heat in the summer. It
also can be quite spooky when you approach it at dusk on your way
through. In any case, it feels like an island of forest, in the
midst of the grasslands of Wilder Ranch. Enjoy the change in
scenery!
This could be called UCSC to the Beach stage 4.
A fun forest to hike or bike through. We have often used the
cache site as a picnic area to break up the day.
The Cache is within an arms reach from the trail and the protective
cables. Begin your search at the stream crossing.
Cache is a decon container.
