Easily accessible spot with beach, picnic area, playground and an interesting historic monument.
A simple offset multi at an interesting historic landmark - the oldest of its type known in Tasmania.
The track which passes this point follows the shoreline for several kilometres north and south and is definitely worth the walk on a clear day.
The cache container is big enough for a coin or two only.

The cache is at:
South 42 E7.D74
East 147 AC.AC6
By the way, there is another historic landmark of a similar type about 4.5km across the water from here, heading 114 degrees. It was erected about 30 years later and is visible from this spot. You should be able to see it on a clear day (binoculars might help).
