Near the swampy Confluence 42N 80W in State Game Lands #109, SE of Erie, PA

10th Anniversary Celebration!
Thanx to everyone who came to join us on the 10th anniversary of this cache. We had a great time meeting everyone. We'll be posting pictures of the event for those of you who couldn't make it.
Original Entry: On our visit to Confluence 42N 80W we left a cache nearby. Rather than leave it in the swamp proper, we left it in the crotch of the 5-trunked maple tree seen in picture #5. In addition to the logbook and a pen, we also left a Sendmail laser/knife and a "Droopy Dog" toy. The cache is fairly easy to reach, and only requires some bushwacking. However, it's nearby a swamp and you might want hip-waders if its been raining. This may have been the first cache in Pennsylvania, but it's taken us 4 months to post it.

The equipment we used in 2000 to place the cache. The two side units are Garmin GPS IIIs. In the center is a Magellan Trailblazer built in 1994.
