PARK HERE - N42* 41.996 / W 078* 45.143 (No parking 7:00pm-7:00
am).
The trailhead begins at the parking coordinates and from there
the cache is only .16 miles away. We highly recommend packing a
picnic lunch and hiking about 20 minutes further in from this cache
to view the Eternal Flame waterfall!!! :)
The cache is a quart sized plastic container that is hidden off
the trail - so this one shouldn't get muggled! When finding the
cache please be watchful for people as they may be around the cache
site - it is a very nice scenic popular place! When you find the
cache, please sign the cache log book as well as the online log and
tell us about your adventure. Plan to spend the whole day there as
the cache is only part of the trip!
If you continue down the path towards the bottom of the creek,
you can follow the stream bed up back to the waterfall possessing
the Eternal Flame. Here you will find an amazing flame engulfed in
a beautiful cascade – it is truly a one-of-a-kind sight to
behold!
