Attended Arizona State University, where he was one of 5 finalists for the 2004 Golden Spikes Award...was a 3-time First-Team All-Pac 10 selection, the 2003 Pac-10 co-Player of the Year and the 2003 National Defensive Player of the Year...hit .384 with 212 runs, 71 doubles, 14 homers, and 146 RBI in 3 seasons at ASU, and had a .466 on-base percentage, a .544 slugging percentage and a .972 fielding percentage, committing just 23 errors in 819 total chances...played in all 185 Sun Devils games over his 3 seasons in Tempe...born in Sacramento, CA, Pedroia is a 2001 graduate of Woodland (CA) High School, where he was a 3-time Delta League Selection...hit .445 with 18 doubles and 5 homers in his senior year to capture league MVP honors...Spends time in the off-season at the Athletes Performance Institute in Tempe, AZ...enjoys movies, reality shows and PlayStation 2...is a fan of the Sacramento Kings and San Francisco 49ers...Dustin and his wife Kelli got married on November 11, 2006.
