Biography:
Attended Los Angeles' Pierce Junior College following his graduation from Inglewood High School in Los Angeles, where he played third base...is one of eight MLB RBI Program alumni to play in the Majors...was inducted into the RBI League Hall of Fame Feb. 9, 2006...Coco was quite active in the community during his first season in Boston...was the Red Sox Nation spokesman, made an appearance in Spring Training at the Diamond Dinner to benefit the Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida, participated in the BoSox Family Day at Fenway Park and met with Jimmy Fund patients as part of their road trip to Atlanta...with the Indians, participated in the Major League Lunch Program, and donated his time to a free baseball clinic with Cleveland State University for kids from the RBI Program and Cleveland Baseball Federation, the Western Reserve Heritage Festival and attended the awards ceremony in 2003 for the Larry Doby RBI program.
