Lucky46: Well, this old cache has been around 9 or 10 years and it is getting increasingly tough to maintain from the distance. Time to let this one go. Thanks to everyone that stopped by. We'll make some room for some new talent in this area. Happy caching!

Geocache Description:


I only consider this the end of the Feather River Canyon because it is downstream and the end of the scenic drive on the river itself. Geographically, the canyon continues on to Lake Oroville and can still be seen as the highway climbs up out of it. Rather spectacularly by the way. Whether you are coming or going, I hope you took-or-take the time to see the sights and reap the benifits of the many caches along the way in the canyon. Sometime, take a day to spend in the canyon and you'll find you didn't know as much about it as you thought.......Now!!!!! The above coordinates ARE the correct location for this cache....BUT... you will see a sign appx. 100 feet away at the N.E. end of the parking area with three words on it. Count the number of letters in these words. The sign faces away from you so you will have to take the stroll to take a look at the other side. These three numbers will be your best friend in accessing the cache log. Please stay off the roadway and have fun, enjoy the canyon and thanks for stopping by. Something for FTF..BYOP...............FTF: Congrats Sierra Rat Note: Please be gentle when opening and closing container. They have been found to be more fragile than first though.
