Geocache Description:

This cache is located within State Game Lands #38, near the top of Camelback Mountain. Since this is State Gamelands, be sure to wear bright ORANGE clothing during hunting season. This is a 3-part multi-cache.

Park at the SGL #38 parking area at the top of Camelback Mountain (N 41° 02.690’// W 075° 22.371’). The one-way hiking distance from the parking area to the final cache is about 1.3 miles.

The coordinates above are for Stage 1 of the cache. Stage 1 is an ammo box that contains a map. When you find Stage 1, you will need to take ONE copy of the map with you. There are alot of trails within the gamelands. This will test your basic map reading skills. Follow the instructions on the map. "X" marks the spot for Stage 2.

Stage 2 is a micro and is winter/snow friendly. You will not have coordinates for this stage. You must use the map to find the general location. It's hidden at the red "X" location on the map. Stage 2 contains the coordinates for the final cache.

Stage 3 is the final cache. It is an ammo box a short distance off of a trail. Some bushwacking might be required, especially during the summertime. The final cache should be an easy find.

The cache contains a FTF prize.

NOTE: During the winter months, the road to the State Gamelands Parking Area is not plowed. The road is only maintained to the houses/condos just past Camelback Ski Area. Even though the road is NOT plowed during winter, it is still traveled by hunters, hikers, etc. Due to the high elevation of this area (1800-2100 feet), there is usually snow up here when there is nothing at the bottom of the mountain. PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN DRIVING UP TO THE PARKING AREA.
