This cache is part of the Moat Mountain Progressive Challenge Series. See GC14Z4R
The cache is a white plastic 5" tall bottle with camo tape on it (was in cache #1, thank you). In it are a log sheet and pen (might want to bring a pencil), a cancer bracelet, a blue stone and small compass. While taking "the challenge" and hoping to place #13 we noticed that between #2 and #3, according to our gps, we could place a cache .23 miles between 2 and 3. We found #8 but were running out of daylight and it was quite icy on the ridge so when we came back down we placed this cache.
The cache is in a tree above eye level, secured with a green shoestring, about 30' off the trail.
