There are some very nice trails in Pescadaro Creek C.P. but it is not as well visited as other nearby areas. From this parking area there is a nice view of Russian Ridge and the other surrounding hills. The Tarwater Loop trail passes through an enchanting grove of new-growth Redwood. You can also make a nice loop that includes the Coyote Ridge Trail in Portola Redwoods S.P. Another nice nike will take you up the ridge to the Hikers Hut in Sam McDonald County Park.
I want to encourage folks to explore this part of Pescadero Creek County Park, so I don't intend for this cache to be hard to find. The cache is a camo painted baby soda bottle. It is down the hill a bit from the parking lot.
