Geocache Description:

Tämä helppo peruskätkö sijaitsee Kukkosensaaren luontopolun lähellä. Paikalla on ilmeisesti kalastajien jonkinlainen taukopaikka, sekä hienot näköalat pyhäselälle. Näkyypä Tikanniemen kärjestä myös satamaankin, tosin se näky on hieman ynseämpi. Piilotin tämän kätkön, jotta se rohkaisisi kätköilijöitä liikkumaan myös "luonnossa", eikä vain kaupungin kaduilla. Ota siis kätkölle tullessasi mukaan tulivehkeet, makkaraa ja kahvintekovälineet ja rentoudu jollain ulkoilualueen monista tulipaikoista.
Kätkö löytynee myös talvella ihan hyvin, mikäli lunta ei ole paljoa. Kesällä saattaa joutua kahlaamaan tai jopa uimaan. Suosittelen kätkölle tuloa päiväsaikaan, pakasterasiat ole niin mielenkiintoisia että niitä kannattaisi yöaikaan käydä ihmettelemässä :).
Terrainiin voitaisiin lisätä tähtönen kesällä.

This easy and basic cache is located close to Kukkosensaari nature trail. At the cache site there's a fishermen's "rest stop" (that's what I think it is :P)with a place for campfire. The tip of Tikanniemi offers great view on Lake Pyhäselkä, as well as a view to the harbor (which is not that great :)). I placed this cache to attract cachers to "nature" areas like this. So when coming for the cache, also take matches, coffee and snacks and make a trip out of it.
The cache should be easily foundable in the winter, too (at least if there's not a lot of snow. Prepare to take rubber boots in the summer, as you might need to wade or even swim. I recommend coming to the cache during daytime.
Add 1 star to terrain rating when the lake's not frozen.
