Located on Alaska's "Emerald Isle," Kodiak Island, the Kodiak Rocket Launch Complex is accessible to the public and very scenic!
Located on the south end of Narrow Cape, the Launch Complex is a newly constructed site, which launches orbital and sub-orbital rockets about 2-3 times per year. There is a public viewing area, and great black sand beaches nearby. Also, WW2 cement bunkers are located atop the coastal cliffs, and they are worth the hike! Look for buffalo and bald eagles!
