Stepping Kirke er en ganske anselig kirke, som fremstår hvidkalket og blytækt.
Der er romansk kor og skib, med 4 gotiske tilbygninger: tårn, sakristi, vestforlængelse af skibet, samt våbenhus.
Alterbordet er muret med munkesten og bærer en altertavle fra 1612.
Prædikestolen er den ældst bevarede i Sønderjylland - fra 1558. Lydhimlen kom til i 1618.
Eng. Stepping Church is a rather stately church, whitewashed and leaded.
There is a Roman choir and nave, with 4 Gothic extensions: Tower, sacristy, the western prolongation of the nave, and the porch.
The Communion Table is bricked, with an altar-piece from 1612. The sounding board was placed in 1618.
