this is a night cache well it will be easier at night
back in the 40`s the Mc Gulvary bottoms was a coon hunters paradice and still is all the coon hunters know the legend of the ghost coon he was named this because of his glowing color and way to just dissapear while being hunted so a local tavern put a bounty on this so called ghost coon two brothers cocky as young boys were professed they cound get this ghost coon so they went to Mc gulvary bottoms the next night even though it was storming,the rain was coming down in buckets the boys ,with their dog were soon on the trail just as everytime before the ghost coon dissapeared around van loon lake so one of the brothers went to retreive the truck for more light they soon found the trail again as the found the ghost coon they heard a thunderous roar,the dam up north broke it was a huge wave that turned over their truck and they were swept to the final resting place.after that no one ever hunter the ghost coon some say he still lives in this very swamp and on stormy nights you can still hear and see the the glow of the brothers on their quest for the ghost coon
the cache is not located at the above coordinates there you will find the begining of the trail and three multi colered reflecters the about every 10 to 15 ft you will find another reflecter till you find two blue reflectors on a tree that is the final resting place for the ghost coon he has been repaced with a peanut butter jar
