This cache is located in the Seqoia National Forest in the Dinkey Lakes Wilderness. It is not too dificult to get to, though it will take some preparation as the drive and hike in take some time. The altitude of the cache is about 9930 ft. There is no clearly marked trail from the lakes to the cache site.
The cache is inside a green ammo box. The original contents are all items that might be useful to a camper/backpacker and are as follows:
- Log book & pen/pencil
- Sewing kit (not used)
- Q-tips (not used)
- Salt & pepper shaker (full)
- Waterproof match container (full)
- Toothbrush holder (not full)
- All-purpose net (oh yeah)
- and Green army men (official tommycache edition)
