On the North East Slope of Bear Hill Park
We entered Bear Hill Park from the end of Central Saanich Rd. The trail up is very very steep with lots of loose rock. The summit is about 300 feet above the road. Parking is just on the side of the road. There is a second entrance to the park off the section of Bear Hill Rd. that runs off Oldfield Rd. I am told that trail is not as steep and a bit easier climb.
