NOTE: YOU CAN
NOT GET TO THIS CACHE FROM SHORE.
Do not try this cache without a small boat, eh?
Bellevue has a Phantom paddle
cache?

Mr
and Ms IDFC are consistently impressed with the creativity and
innovation for caching here in Washington. About 6 months ago we
discovered the paddle caches placed by Prying Pandora et al
and spent a fun day out paddling lots of great little lakes.
Plenty of miles of paddling and only one dunking
(that would have been Mr IDFC) left us wanting to add to the
paddling cache community. This is an easy 20-30 minute paddle
around the lake picking up 3 waypoints on the road to the
final.
Stage 1:
The cache coords take you to “The Bridge”: Let A = The
number of vertical rails supporting the hand rail on one side the
bridge.
Stage 2:
Takes you to what is left of an old dock: Let B = The number of old
piles (the timbers sticking up from the water) in this area.
Stage 3:
Takes you to the permanent measuring meter for the lake: Let C =
The highest whole number on the gauge.
The Final:
The final is located at 47 3(b+1).c3c, 122 0a.a10
(Checksum
for A+B+C=17)
Cache:
A small lock-n-lock. It is now a small hanging item
from the tree so it survivies the water level changes, birds, and
wind.
Portage: Non-trivial. You can park in the park
without problems, and there is a nice dock to launch from, but the
carry from the parking lot to the water is not without a bit a
length. No permit required at the park.
Have
a great paddle!
