An easy almost flat walk though a variety of very quiet countryside abound with wild life and birds.
It is a very quiet and unspoilt area of open fell, mixed woodland and pasture and the pathways are obvious.
If you follow the route anti-clockwise (as I generally do)you will end up (depending on the weather) with an unusual and magnificent view of Windermere before reaching Black Beck Tarn.
