Geocache Description:


In keeping with the spirit inherent in “300 Dogs,” this cache is being placed in memory of our dog WENDY, a Yorkshire Terrier who thought she was a cat.

Wendy was our first and only dog. Although she was a Yorkshire Terrier, she was raised by a male Siamese cat who adopted her the minute we brought her home as a tiny puppy. He trained her to be as haughty as any Siamese can be and even managed to groom her long Yorkie hair.


The cache has been placed just off a snowmobile trail which tends to be quite busy in the winter, so please be mindful of the traffic as you walk the trail during the winter months.

Most of the year parking is available at N43 03.949 and W071 23.840. During the winter when the parking area has not been plowed, there is room for one or two cars across the street.
