Geocache Description:


In keeping with the spirit inherent in “300 Dogs,” this cache is being placed in memory of Mrs., GH’s first dog Pete, who was a Toy Poodle, sort of.

In actuality, Pete wasn’t eligible for registration by the AKC as a poodle because of a slight indiscretion on the part of her mother, but we never told her of her shady past. In appearance she could pass for a poodle, and pass she did. She also became the pet of the neighborhood and a favorite pal of the cat who lived next door.



The cache has been placed a short distance off a popular snowmobile trail, so please be mindful of the snowmobile traffic as you walk the trail in the winter months.

Most of the year parking is available at N43 03.949 and W071 23.840. During the winter when the parking area has not been plowed, there is room for one or two cars across the street.
