Wow – I’m tired of Winter!. So this cache is above ground, impervious to the depth of snow in the area. It was placed during the “last” snowstorm of Winter 2007-2008.I’ve been looking for caches lately, and too many of them are below the snow level; snow will not be a problem here.
The cache is somewhere in the area circumscribed by these four coordinates:
N42 16.206, W071 37.684
N42 16.192, W071 37.717
N42 16.181, W071 37.705
N42 16.185, W071 37.681
These listed coordinates are given as waypoints below.
The cache is a small box 3” X 3” X 5” – it holds a logbook, a pencil and an un-registered travel bug for the FTF. There really isn’t room for lots of swag.
As an added incentive, I’d like to buy a beer( or other liquid) for the first five to find. Beer is an age old way of surviving winter!!
Parking is on Mill Road at N 42° 15.960 W 071° 38.024. This is the listing location given above. This is also the parking for Charmed by the Ass-A-Bet Mill Rd parking.
The trail parallels the road in this area, first entering the woods at N42 15.985 W 071 38.029, re-emerging for a bit, and then reentering the woods at N42 16.097 W 071 37.985 Distance from parking to the cache is about 0.3 miles.
There is a school to the east of the Cache. Please do not park there. Unfortunately we live in an age when strangers near a school are a cause of concern.
