The Gaoler's Return Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

UBC Geograd: Unfortunately this area has changed significantly since this cache was placed in 2008. Most notably is the development of the monster home just meters from the cache. Having regard to the fact that this is no longer a private area in the forest, the best course of action here is to regretfully archive this cache- one of the very first letterboxes in the Edmonton area.

Geocache Description:

Since this cache was placed, several of the landmarks have changed, making this cache difficult to find with the original clues in the poem. As a result, the "poem" has been re-written as of December 11, 2014 to utilize different landmarks that are still intact.

For Vol. III of Frivolous Folklore, we present you something a little bit different. Edmonton, like most locales, has very few "Letterbox Hybrid" caches. Often, letterbox hybrids are complex and confusing. This one is intended for those of us who haven't had the opportunity to try one out. So why not come and get a smiley face stamp from this letterbox? Without further adieu, I present the Tale of the Gaoler's Purse...
