SITE - Muscatatuck Park in North Vernon will be the site of the picnic to be held on September 6th. The park officials have been wonderful. They are working with us to have everything within walking distance of the picnic area. That’s right, you will be able to walk to events from your campsite.

REGISTRATION - All reservations for the Fall Picnic and the Friday Night Meet & Greet will be done on the Indigo-Geo Fall Picnic Registration Form..

If you have problems with the form, please send an email with the information shown on the form.

Logs on the cache page are encouraged, but they DO NOT register you for the event. Name tags will be made from the on-line reservation form only.

KID’S SPACE - New this year, will be an area for the little cachers to play. This area will be unsupervised so parents should accompany their child while visiting the area.

FRIDAY NIGHT MEET & GREET - InKy is sponsoring a chili dump and meet and greet. Check out their event cache page. After filling up on chili, prepare yourself for some extreme night caching. Bring your flashlights and your courage as you vie for bragging rights and prizes.

CAMPING - Camping registration is open. Reservations can be made through Muscatatuck reservation service.

PITCH-IN LUNCH - Once again everyone is asked to bring a contribution for the pitch-in lunch. A pitch-in only works if everyone who eats at the buffet has contributed. Contributions will be exchanged for meal tickets. If you do not contribute to the meal, you will not be given a meal ticket and you may want to consider bringing a sack lunch for yourself.

If your last name begins with A-H, please bring a family size dessert. Last names that begin with I-Z, please bring a family size homemade side dish. Grills will be provided for your use; however, each attendee is responsible for their own meat and drink. Pitch-in contribution will be exchanged for meal tickets.

DONATIONS, PRIZES & RAFFLES - Everyone is asked to bring a donation for the prize table. Eighteen and older will be considered an adult for the prizes. So CHILDREN aren't left out, anyone with children is be asked to bring an AGE APPROPRIATE donation for their children. These will go in gift bins for the younger cachers to choose from when their ticket is called.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - The Indigo-Geo website has been updated to include some initial information for the 2008 picnic. New information will be added as it becomes available. Keep watching. The website will be the main source of information.

YOUTH CHALLENGE (Ages 12-17)- It’s time to challenge the teens. This year the teens can sign-up for their own Survivor style event. Space is limited. If sign-up exceeds space, a drawing will be held to determine participants. Register for the event at the same time you submit your event registration on the Indigo-Geo Fall Picnic Registration Form.

GEO-SURVIVIOR (Ages 18+) - GeoSurvivor has always been the Fall Picnic’s premier event. A drawing will be held to determine participants and will be announced at the picnic kick-off on September 6th at 10:00 a.m. All participants MUST be at the picnic kick-off. Register for the event at the same time you submit your event registration on the Indigo-Geo Fall Picnic Registration Form.

COIN SWAP - Saturday evening, starting at 7:30, we will have a coin and tag swap in the Muscatatuck dining hall along with yummy dutch oven cobbler around the campfire. Watch for the event page to be posted for specific times and information.
