Janderup Kirke
Janderup Kirke er beliggende i engene ved Varde Å. Af og til under stormflod har havvand oversvømmet kirkegården. Romansk kirke med tårn og sakristi fra senmiddelalderen. Hvælvene har kalkmalerier af Liljemesteren. Stor og prangende altertavle fra 1645 med stærke farver og utallige figurer: den sejrende kristus, engle med korsfæstelsesredskaber, evangelisterne med deres symboler og kvindefigurer, som illustrerer de kristne dyder. På korbuevæggen et krucifiks fra o. 1300, en helgenfigur fra o.1500 (muligvis Skt. Erasmus) og Maria som himmeldronning i solgissel fra 1503. Fonthimmel med dåbsscene og apostle fra 1652. Prædikestol fra begyndelsen af 1600-tallet.

Janderup Kirke
Janderup Church situated in the meadows on Varde river. Sometimes during storms seawater has flooded the churchyard. The church is romanesque with tower and late medieval vestry. The vaults are decorated with frescoes by the “Lily master-painter”. The large and resplendent altarpiece from 1645 has strong colours and numereous figures:
the victorious Christ, angels with crucifix ion instruments, the evangelists with their symbols and female figures illustrating the Christian virtues. On the wall of the chancel arch is a crucifix from ca 1300, a saintly figure from ca 1500 (possibly St. Erasmus) and Mary as a Queen of heaven in a solar halo from 1503. The font canopy with baptismal scene and apostle is from 1652 and the pulpit from the 17th. Century..
