This cache is at a lovely overlook of Pinehurst Canyon. Standing here, one would think one is in the Sierras, as there hardly any sign of civilization in sight. But in fact one is in the center of the SF Bay Area, just over the hill from Oakland.
You can hike to this spot from any of three different trailheads: Sibley (N37 50.855 W122 11.916), Huckleberry (N37 50.564 W122 11.701) or Pinehurst Canyon (N37 50.446 W122 11.098).
