Biblioteket i Thisted er opført i år 1938 og er en fremragende arkitektonisk bygning. Indvendig er der original kunst af Jens Søndergaard.
På den modsatte side af vejen er mindestenen for Kristen Kold - en af de stor fritænkere fra 1800 tallet.
Eng. The town library is build in 1938 and are still one of the most beautefull modern buildings in Thisted. Inside you can see paintings of Jens Søndergaard, a famous local artist.
Across the road is a memorial for Kristen Kold - one of the founders of the free schools in Denmark.
