Actually this cache is placed in memory of a really cool “yard dog”. When I worked at the company next to the site, this friendly little guy showed up one day and we all started taking care of him. He picked up his name because he always seemed to hang around the guys in the shop working on the polyethylene pipe. The process of joining the pipe and fittings is called “Fusion” (as in #1 of the definition), so the name stuck (pun intended). Unfortunately one day he zigged instead of zagged with a delivery truck and that was when we lost a good friend. We could always depend on his wagging tail and friendly rub in the mornings as we drove up to work. It was always a great way to start out the day! So this is for you, Fusion! Happy Caching!
