Syötteen Ahmatupa Traditional Cache

[ENG] Syöte National Park offers excellent skiing tracks for everyone. Ahmatupa is located along route Ahmareitti which is quite hard to ski. Recommended parking place is near Syöte visitor centre. The shortest route from visitor centre to Ahmatupa is about 8 km long and altitude difference is about 120 metres. Maybe better to practice skiing a little before going geocaching and don’t forget to take something to eat and drink with you. You can enjoy your food along the route for example in the huts Annintupa or Välitupa. There is a cafeteria in Ahmatupa in the season time (February-April). In the summer time you can reach Ahmatupa using well marked hiking routes. (Translation by reply and jenkka.)
