Waterproof container.
Indian Creek Park is bounded by the Illinois Prairie Path on
one side and Molitor Rd. on the other.
History: The Indian Creek sign says this park was dedicated
in September of 1996 as a Flood Control Area. Community groups
played a key role in making sure the surrounding neighborhood
stayed dry and safe from flooding. A nice park along Molitor Rd.
with some wetland area at the back of the park controls flooding
and makes this a nice place to take a stroll. A path winds around
the flood control area. The park landscape changes as the seasons
change making this a quiet place to come visit again and again!
Congratulations GeoRon! on your 2600th FIND! Glad you
were able to pick up the FTF Geocoin @ this milestone! This cache
is large enough for small trading items and is in a waterproof
container.

June 6, 2009 by Tink74 (2863 found) My 2077th Find I was stuck around Aurora on-call, so what better way to pass time than to hook-up with MikeyB and cache the time away. Our luck was not that great around the river, but we had a good time anyhow!! Thanks for bringing us to a different location in this park...there really is a lot of different zones of growth and water here. We made the trek through the long grass...later to find out MikeyB picked up a tick and I am betting it was from here The container is familiar and I am yet to find one that stays water proof...nice a clear, but always wet inside. Thanks for bringing us here!! TNLN SL TFTC
