Waterproof container.
Indian Creek Park is bounded by the Illinois Prairie Path on
one side and Molitor Rd. on the other.
History: The Indian Creek sign says this park was dedicated
in September of 1996 as a Flood Control Area. Community groups
played a key role in making sure the surrounding neighborhood
stayed dry and safe from flooding. A nice park along Molitor Rd.
with some wetland area at the back of the park controls flooding
and makes this a nice place to take a stroll. A path winds around
the flood control area. The park landscape changes as the seasons
change making this a quiet place to come visit again and again!
Congratulations GeoRon! on your 2600th FIND! Glad you
were able to pick up the FTF Geocoin @ this milestone! This cache
is large enough for small trading items and is in a waterproof
container.
