Geocache Description:

Ammo can in the brush. Watch out for stickers and bugs!

This is no longer recommended as a TB motel, please DO NOT put any in here until further notice! The name and description was kept for continuity and the hope that the present area will get redeveloped so that a new motel can be put in this site at a later time. It has also been opened to all cachers until such time as a change in this area status.
Congratulations to BSmith7575 for "FTF"

The standard travel bug & geocoin hotel/motel on the original Space Coast route to central Florida.
This is a P&C members only to test the idea of reducing loss of geocoins and TB's which has been a blight on these type of caches.

No lock anymore to access the cache.

The history: The United States Numbered Highways were assigned in late 1926, including U.S. Route 192, running from U.S. Route 92 in Kissimmee east to U.S. Route 1 in Melbourne.

In the late 1960s, US 192 was extended east along SR 516 (renumbered at some point to an extension of SR 500) to end at State Road A1A In 1972 it was extended west along SR 530 to U.S. Route 27 (State Road 25), crossing Interstate 4 and the recently-opened Walt Disney World Resort along the way.
