Mr G's Dad, introduced him to toy trains over 50
years ago. Since then Mr G has passed on this love to 2 sons,
nieces and nephews, and now our grandchildren. We have a
medium sized layout in our basement to pass time when caching
is not available.
This cache is
the home of the fictitious SENHRR (South East New Hampshire
Railroad). It is close to the RailTrail that leads North to Camp
Nasty. Its purpose is to expand our network to RailTrails anywhere
in the world.
While not required:
1) If you choose to "work" for us, then we recommend that you take
one or more of our railroad cards and place a new cache next to a
RailTrail within the standard geocaching.com guidelines.
2) Any SIZE cache is OK.
3) Kid friendly whenever possible.
4) We recommend that you name the cache SENHRR - ????? and notify
us so that we can keep record of our rolling stock via a Bookmark
List.
5) Open to any cacher.
It's also OK to just sign the log to get
credit for this cache.
The cache
is a camoed medium size lock 'n lock. It will start with some kid
related swag and a couple of travelers. There is also a bag with
some cards with railroad cars pictured on them to be used to start
future caches.
It is a few
hundred feet from Parking at the Fremont Library across from the
REAL Fremont Depot. The cache is about 10' off the trail. Use
stealth when muggles, 4 wheelers & snowmachines
approach.
