MoerenumaPark is a city park becoming the nucleus of a green tract
of land of northern part of the "Sapporo-shi ringed green belt"
design origin.
I started park creation at (1982) in 1982 after having used it as
garbage processing ground.
Sculptor Isamu Noguchi participates in a plan to (1988) in 1988.
Basic design of MoerenumaPark was devised.
Creation is pushed forward by a dynamic design to assume "a park
one sculpture" by Noguchi; grand (2005) on July 1 in 2005; opened
it.
In the park, the cherry tree of "the forest of the cherry tree"
blooms in May, and Moerebeach is opened in June of September.
There are a Moere mountain of 50m in height that can command a
whole view of a mountain range surrounding seven places of
playground equipment areas with playground equipments more than 120
engines which Isamu Noguchi designed as other institutions and the
Ishikari plains and a play mountain of 30m.
You can watch a pyramid made of the glass from this place.
The person going to this place by car please stop a car in the
East parking lot.

モエレ沼公園は、「札幌市環状グリーンベルト」構想の北部系緑地の核となる都市公園です。
ゴミ処理場として利用した後、1982年（昭和57年）から公園造成を開始しました。
1988年（昭和63年）には、彫刻家イサム・ノグチが計画に参画。モエレ沼公園の基本設計が策定されました。
ノグチによる、「公園をひとつの彫刻」とするダイナミックな構想により造成が進められ、
2005年（平成17年）7月1日にグランドオープンしました。
公園では、5月には「サクラの森」のサクラが咲き、6月から9月にかけてはモエレビーチが開放されます。
その他の施設として、イサム・ノグチがデザインした120基以上の遊具のある7ヶ所の遊具エリアや、石狩平野を囲む山脈を一望できる、高さ50mのモエレ山や30ｍのプレイマウンテンがあります。
この場所からはガラスのピラミッドを見ることができます。
