Orten är mest känd för sina cyklar och gjutjärnspannor. Skeppshultcykeln (1920) är den enda cykelfabrik som fortfarande svetsar sina egna ramar i Sverige.
Gjuteriet (1906) tillverkar bl.a. mortlar, stekpannor och grytor. Vid macken finns en kille som trimmar motorsågar! troligen den ende i Sverige.
