Geocache Description:

A legacy cache passed down from Jellis50 and then Smokey Bear Collector, that I have happily adopted as my own.

Smokey Bear Collector's original text:

"Bait up and cast out at the de Anza campsite #101. Great place to fish, picnic, catch some sun and enjoy the panoramic shoreline view.

This cache was previously maintained by Jellis50 and was called 'Peering Out of Oakley'. I don't know how to adopt a cache yet, so I just redid this on my own. My thanks to her for the great location of a hide :)

Also, this could make for a fun night cache...keep in mind the park is closed from 10pm to 5am, though the pier is open 24 hours :)"

THE CACHE:

I had to replace the original container, which appears to have gone missing. Judging from my slight coordinate adjustment, the new one may be in the original GZ.

This is a small camo'd pill bottle about the size of a film canister, with only a log inside currently. There is a bit of space for tiny objects. Based on my recent experiences with my cache GC2145R, I've added a custom label to the outside of the container.
