A traditional cache located in Birchwood, Alaska
This cache was placed near where I spend a lot of time; Birchwood
ABC Elementary school. Thank you to Mr. Reed, the school principal,
for letting me hide this cache on school property. Please
don’t try to find the cache during school hours, 8:30 A.M. to
4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday during the school year. The cache
container is a large plastic jar that has been camouflaged. I put
many things inside this cache that an elementary student would find
useful.
The original cache contents were:
Battery/Solar powered calculator (FTF Prize)
Multiplication Flash Cards
Addition Flash Cards
Pencils (including a Geocaching.com pencil)
Pencil Sharpener
Erasers
Set of Crayola Paint Brushes
Glow Stick
Cache Log and pencil (with one of my favorite Superheroes on
it)
Please take whatever you wish, but I would appreciate it if you
would leave school-related items. Watch out for moose droppings!

This was a pretty good one for my family to do together for there first time. Yes it was alittle cold but it was fun.

Found this cache just as school was getting out. Just as I was signing the log, the cache owner walks up and starts chatting, it was nice meeting the cache placer. A very nice geocacher, and glad we are getting some young ones involved in this game/sport. TNLNSL. TFTC.!!!

Sunday was the perfect day to geo, not alot of interference out, it doesn't look quite as bad walking into the woods near a school. Figure one day the popo will show up on a suspicious person call. Anyway, cache is in good shape, left a small "you found jack squat coin". SL, TFTC. Still a few toys left inside, good kids cache.
